Then

As a little girl, I absolutely loved to make things. Anything from painting to crochet to jewelry. My parents always encouraged my creativity. Mom would bring me to the hobby shop to buy supplies and Dad would help me deliver my creations to my grandmothers and various aunts. Both of my parents have passed away and On Angels’ Wings Design was named in their honor.

Now

Fast forward to now, I am blessed with two amazing (adult) children and the opportunity to create jewelry in the most beautiful setting. I live and work at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains; many people refer to this area as God’s country. It most certainly is just that serene.

The pieces offered here are all handmade by me and include multiple media. Gemstone and metal beads, leather and other cording, both precious and base metal and wire, pearls, crystals and Czech glass are all used in my designs.

Techniques include soldering, metal work, wire wrapping, beading and even crochet. Yes you can crochet with thin metal wire; the result is stunning.

My pieces do not necessarily reflect one style, color or pattern. Rather a mix of design styles based on what I am feeling on any particular day. One day, minimalist pieces reflect my mood and another day in the studio is represented by bigger, bolder earrings made of folded metal. Of course, I do have a big traditional side as well, so pieces with pearls (fresh/saltwater or crystal) are a must too.

I was raised a Catholic and my faith has carried me through some dark days and also afforded me more blessings than I can count. You will also find a religious section of jewelry here as well, for those of you who are also grounded in faith.

Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in a custom piece or would like a variation of something that you see here.

Wishing you a day filled with good things,

-On Angels’ Wings.
